Abdul Asserti

I am a telecom and ICT professional with over 22 years of experience. I held various positions and responsibilities at Getronics, Versatel (acquired later by Tele2) and Tele2. During my 11 years at Getronics, I performed different activities and held different responsibilities such consultancy, network design, implementation and project management in the area of IP and Ethernet networks.

In 2000, I joined Versatel where I started as a Senior DSL access network designer. Two years later in 2002, I took the end-to-end responsibility of the DSL design and development team. In 2005, as my new position as technology architect, I was in charge of the strategic DSL access roadmap for Versatel’s/Tele2’s access architecture for the German and Dutch market. My technical competencies range from detailed network designing to high level architecture.

During my 12 years of experience within Versatel/Tele2, I have enriched my expertise in broadband access
technologies and triple play services. I have also gained extensive experiences concerning the Dutch consumer
and business market.

What I have enjoyed the most in during my 12 years experience at Tele2 is the interaction with people, business, projects and technologies in my daily activities.
My passion is creating cost efficient and innovative solutions to ensure the network architecture is always
improved, staying ahead of competition thus resulting in customer satisfaction and fulfilled requirements.
